  • 02.How do I activate my SIM?

    You can activate your SIM online at here or call us at 126 999 from your Hello Mobile phone. You will need you passport or Australian driver's license to activate your SIM.

  • 03.How much does it cost to call Hello Mobile customer service?

    Calls from your Hello Mobile phone to 126 999 are free. Calls to 1300 126 999 from other networks incur the standard national rate of your service provider.

  • 04.How do I make an international call with Hello Mobile?

    Making international calls with Hello Mobile works the same way as making calls from other mobile phones or landlines. Dial 0011 followed by the country code, then the area code without the leading "0", then the phone number and press the dial/send button. The " + " symbol can also be used instead of 0011. Premium voice and text services in other countries cannot be reached from a mobile phone service when calling from outside that country.

  • 07.How do I send a text message from Australia to another country with Hello Mobile?

    Hello Mobile works the same way as other mobile services when it comes to sending international text messages. Simply text 0011 followed by the country code, the area code and phone number, then press the send button. The " + " symbol can also be used instead of 0011.

  • 08.What mobile handsets can I use with Hello Mobile SIM cards?

    The handsets need to be compatible with the internationally recognised GSM standards adopted by all major handset manufacturers. There are no restrictions on the type of handset you can use with Hello Mobile. Please call the Hello Mobile Customer Service Hotline on 1300 126 999 if you are unsure about the compatibility of your handset.

  • 09.My handset seems to be locked

    If your mobile phone screen shows "phone restricted", "blocked", "barred", "incorrect SIM" or "SP lock" when the SIM card is initially inserted, your mobile phone may be locked to another network. There are a number of ways to unlock your phone. Simply call Customer Service on 1300 126 999.

  • 10.I have not used my Hello Mobile for a while and it has stopped working. Why is this?

    SIM cards are automatically deactivated if the service has not been recharged for a period of three months. Unfortunately, the cards cannot be reactivated and the phone number also stops being available for use after this time.

  • 11.My SIM card has been stolen/lost. How do I prevent someone else from using it?

    Please contact the Hello Mobile Customer Service Hotline on 1300 126 999 as quickly as possible and one of our agents will assist you.

  • 12.Can I change plans?

    Yes, however, you will lose all call credits from the previous plan. Changing plans can be done by calling Customer Service on 1 300 126 999 from a landline or 126 999 from your Hello Mobile phone.
